Osceola Virtual School is a publc school in the Osceola County School Distirct. We offer "virtual instruction programs" for home, private and public school students who reside in Osceola County. “Virtual instruction program” means a program of instruction provided in an interactive learning environment created through technology in which students are separated from their teachers by time or space, or both. Osceola Virtual has many options for K thru 12 students that are aligned to Next Generation Sunshine State and Common Core Standards. Students may attend full-time, part-time, or blended. A franchise of Florida Virtual School (FLVS) and partnering with other providers such a K12, Aventa-Peak and National Digtal Networking, OVS is continuing "to provide rigorous academic programs and innovative educational solutions to meet the unique needs of for virtual school learners"

Registraton for the 2013-14 school year opens April 15, 2013. Contact our office to schedule an appointment to  learn more about the exciting world of virtual school.

School District Offices To Be Closed On Fridays During Summer For Cost Savings

Beginning on June 10, 2013, through the week of August 5, 2013, the school district's administrative offices and school front offices will be open to the public Mondays through Thursdays during the following hours:
--Mondays - Wednesdays -- 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
--Thursdays -- 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Some district facilities may be open on Fridays for teacher trainings, school-based events, or maintenance work. For the week of July 4, 2013, regular work hours (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday) of 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. will be followed. School District offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4.
